The effect of Curleys  wife loneness     In the novel Of Mice and Men, by  nates Steinbeck the  2 main characters, George and Lennie are two  migrant workers in the great depression. There is a significant   annul between the two because Lennie is work forcetally ill. George and Lennie have to move   a lot because of Lennies mishaps. The ranch George and Lennie is now working on is watched  everyplace by the bosss son Curley. Steinbecks  cognitive content to the  subscriber is that everyone is lonely. Each character is in a  unalike situation that makes them who they are. Although the author describes them as being lonely, Curleys married wo composition is special in her loneliness. She is completely  ignore to the whole ranch. John Steinbeck uses language and symbolism to show Curleys wife loneliness.  Curley shows no affection or interest for his un noniced wife. Curleys married woman is the only woman on the ranch. Because of this, she tries way so  disenfranchised to impress the    men with her beauty. She does this because she is  hugely lonely and  wishings men to  verbalize to her because her own married man wont.    Steinbeck characterizes Curleys Wife as a pretty, flirty girl. When she  dialogue with Lennie, he whispers to George, Shes purty (33).   This shows Lennies temptations as well as his own loneness .

Steinbeck is also showing the reader what Lennie thinks of Curleys wife and that hes not  terror-stricken to express his feelings  some her. Curleys wife knows she gets a  striation of looks from her beauty, and she uses it to flirt with the men on the ranch to make her husband jealous.    Although, her husband  neer seems to spend !   time with her throughout the book, George knows  part and tries to avoid her because he knows he will face consequences with her husband, Curley. George is  sure not  terrified of Curley but in the Great  clinical depression he is mostly worried of losing his job. Although Curleys Wife tries greatly to not be lonely, she still is because of this.
